Casualty Claims Adjuster

We are recruiting for Casualty Claims Adjuster on behalf a start-up Lloyd''s Syndicate. The Casualty Claims Adjuster will be responsible for handling a varied caseload of claims under the Casualty line of business.Key ResponsibilitiesHandling all clams, with due consideration of any potential subrogation and tight costs control, as referrals or via DCAs.Manipulating data and providing analysis of claims.Identifying deficiencies in information.Creating effective reports and updating to Claims Managers and Underwriters.Working closely with technology team in developing and utilising analytical oversight tools.Managing bordereau and loss funds.Interpreting financial reports and insurance performance measures.Negotiating with both internal and external parties. Key RequirementsGeneral Liability / Casualty experience essential (Medical Malpractice is advantageous).ACII or equivalent or progression towards qualification.Solid claims handling experience.Knowledge of London Market DA Claim operations / procedures.Knowledge and understanding of product features, benefits, exclusions and warranties and application to various situations.Understandings of the legal principles giving rise to subrogation.
