Casual Housing Support Worker

Ashberry Recruitment are currently looking for Casual Housing Support Workers to work with our clients based in Lancaster and surrounding areas. As a Housing Support Worker, you will be providing resettlement support to clients within the sheltered housing project and dispersed tenancies.Some of your duties and responsibilities will be as follows:Supporting vulnerable young people or adults with the following needs: Drug and Alcohol Misuse, Sexual Exploitation, Domestic Violence and Mental HealthWorking as part of a small teamCarrying out client needs and risk assessment for all referralsSupporting tenants through individual resettlement support plansTo ensure clients comply with their tenancy agreementSupporting clients with welfare rights, budgeting, employment, education, and trainingLiaising with all relevant housing agencies to find suitable move on accommodation for tenantsDevelop links with the local communityEnsure communication systems are accurately maintained and up to dateMaintenance of the Health and Safety incident and accident recordsTo be aware of and work within agreed organisation policies and proceduresRequirements for the role:Enhanced DBS Check (A check will need to be carried out if no current DBS is in ..... full job details .....
