During heat treatment, aluminium and magnesium castings can naturally distort. As a Casting Setter, you will manually straighten and realign components to restore them to the required dimensional tolerances before they move on to machining and final inspection.This is a highly skilled, hands-on engineering role, ideally suited to someone with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in traditional manufacturing or engineering environments.
