Cask Handler

Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Cask Handler to join our client''s site in Glenrothes.

What''s on offer?

• Full-time permanent position
• Working Monday to Friday - across day shift hours
• Paid at -28,000 per annum

Working as a Cask Handler, you will be responsible for the safe movement of casks within an established set of process procedures, including:

• Re-gauging, re-racking and cask integrity inspection
• Accurate record keeping when filling and disgorging casks
• Dilution and calculation of spirit to achieve target ABV
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
• Use of a forklift to consolidate casks, pallets and IBCs

To be successful in this Cask Handler role, you will:

• Have previous experience in a warehousing environment - ideally working with spirits
• Have a valid UK driver''s license
• Have a valid forklift license
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
