Cash SpecialistLocation: Solihull / HybridContract: 6 monthsStart Date: ASAPHours: 37 hours per weekWorking Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm, with flexibility to work 8:00am - 4:00pmPay Rate: 15.68 per hourOffice Days: Monday and TuesdayRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Cash Specialist!The role will focus on financial processing, account reconciliation and ensuring transactions are completed accurately and in line with regulatory and business requirements. You will work closely with colleagues and other departments to resolve issues, improve processes and maintain a high level of customer and operational service.Key ResponsibilitiesReconcile customer accounts and ensure outstanding balances are accurate.Process and manage BACS, card payments and cheque transactions.Work with general ledger processes and ensure financial records are accurate.Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and recurring rejections.Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.Work closely with other departments to resolve issues and support smooth cross-functional processes.Provide clear feedback and explanations to help reduce recurring errors and rejections.Support the training and development of new team members by sharing knowledge and best practice.Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines, KPIs and business requirements.Adapt to changes in processes and systems while maintaining accuracy and service levels.Identify opportunities to improve ..... full job details .....
