Case Progression Manager

Halton Borough Council is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Case Progression Manager to join our Children''s Social Care service. This is a key role in ensuring that cases progressing through pre-proceedings and the Family Court are managed effectively, to a high standard and within the required timescales.Reporting to the Divisional Manager for Children''s Social Care, you will provide oversight of case progression, Court and legal processes, and the quality assurance of casework progressing through Private Law and Public Law Outline (PLO) proceedings, including pre-proceedings.You will play a central role in ensuring that work entering the Court system is of the required quality, that statutory and Court timescales are met, and that social workers and managers are supported to deliver effective practice.About the RoleAs Case Progression Manager, you will:Oversee and monitor case progression, Court and legal processes, ensuring cases are progressed effectively and within prescribed timescales.Provide quality assurance of casework progressing through PLO and pre-proceedings, as well as Private Law matters.Work closely with Social Work Managers and Social Workers to continuously improve performance management and quality assurance systems across Children''s Services and partner agencies.Ensure managers and practitioners have access to accurate, timely and meaningful information to support effective decision-making and promote understanding of practice and ..... full job details .....
