Location: Hull
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 39 hours per week
Pay: -14.44 per hour

Are you practical, detail-focused, and take pride in quality craftsmanship? We''re looking for a skilled Carpet Fitter to join our team in a busy caravan manufacturing environment, helping to create comfortable and stylish interiors for our customers.

About the Role:

As a Carpet Fitter, you''ll be responsible for installing carpets and vinyl flooring in caravans during various stages of the build process. Your work will directly contribute to the high-end finish of our products, ensuring every caravan leaves the factory looking its best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measuring and cutting carpets and vinyl flooring to fit caravan layouts precisely
• Installing flooring using adhesives, tapes, and specialist tools
• Trimming and finishing around furniture, fixtures, and fittings for a seamless look
• Reading and working from layout plans and build specifications
• Ensuring all flooring is securely fitted, clean, and free from defects
• Maintaining a tidy and safe work area
• Reporting any issues or defects to the team leader
• Assisting with other interior fitting tasks as required

What We''re Looking For:

• Experience in carpet fitting or flooring installation (ideally in a manufacturing or construction setting)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of health & safety in a factory environment
• Willingness to learn caravan-specific fitting techniques
