Carpentry Foreman

Required: Working Foreman (Carpentry) Location: Camberley Pyramid Recruitment are looking for a working carpentry foreman for a housing development to manage a team of carpenters and maintain productivity. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise carpentry teams, delegate tasks to crew members, and provide guidance and knowledge sharing. Perform carpentry work, including making and repairing windows, doors, roofs and other structures as needed. on a large housing development Monitor project progress, update schedules, and work with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations, conduct site inspections, deliver toolbox talks, and ensure the proper use of safety gear. Order and arrange for the delivery of materials, and manage site resources effectively. Ensure all carpentry work is carried out to a high standard, in line with approved methods and specifications. Track daily work production, ensure required documentation is completed, and maintain records on a tablet. Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors. Identify defects and issues, and instruct on remedial work where necessary. Required Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as a skilled carpenter or joiner is essential. Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Proficiency in reading project plans, drawings, and specifications. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
