Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer

Carpentry Lecturer Hourly Rate: £35-£45 Location: East Sussex Job Type: Part-time (2 days per week) We are seeking a Carpentry Lecturer to join our team on a part-time basis, delivering apprenticeship training in Site Carpentry. This role is crucial for providing high-quality education and support to our apprentices, ensuring they gain the skills needed for success in the carpentry industry. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver educational content on Site Carpentry to apprentices. Prepare lesson plans and ensure all materials and tools are available for each class. Engage with apprentices through practical and theoretical instruction. Assess and evaluate apprentices'' progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain records of apprentices'' attendance, progress, and assessments. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all practical sessions. Required Skills and Qualifications: Must hold at least a Level 3 Qualification in Carpentry (standard L3 certification or NVQ). Proven experience in carpentry, with a strong practical and theoretical knowledge base. Excellent teaching and communication skills. Ability to engage and inspire apprentices.
