      <description>Location: Cambridge | Salary: 17.98-17.98 Hourly | Type: Contract | TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project in Cambridgeshire, on a long term temp-to-perm contract. Vehicle and tools required.  The successful candidate will be required to complete carpentry and fabric repairs at a couple of MOD bases in Cambridgeshire. Duties include but are not limited to:  Hanging doors. Building fabric maintenance Fitting kitchen units. Skirting board replacements Snagging   Immediate start. Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay: £17.98 per hour PAYE - 12 week contract. Upon completion of 12 weeks, you will be offered a permanent position full-time with the company.  You will initially require a vehicle, where a mileage allowance will be paid. We do not expect no more than 30-50 miles per day. Mileage paid 45p per mile after 30 miles. Upon completion of 12 weeks, you will receive a company vehicle and fuel card.   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS  NVQ trade qualification(s) in carpentry and joinery or equivalent.
