Carpenter / Trainee Supervisor

Fawkes and Reece are working with a prestige Tier 1 main contractor that delivers large-scale residential developments, including purpose-built student accommodation and retirement living apartments.Their projects are typically high-rise RC frame developments, and due to continued growth they are looking to recruit an experienced Carpenter or Joiner who wants to progress into a Site Finishing Supervisor role specialising in passive fire snagging and finishing works.This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a carpentry background who wants to move into site supervision while developing specialist skills in passive fire protection.The RoleYou will work alongside the site management and aftercare teams, supporting finishing, snagging and fire-related carpentry works across major residential developments.Projects are located across Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester, with travel and accommodation covered when working away from home.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise carpentry operatives completing finishing and remedial worksCoordinate and manage snagging activities on siteInspect works to ensure high quality standardsSupport and inspect passive fire carpentry elementsWork closely with Site Managers and Project ManagersEnsure works meet Health and Safety and building regulationsWhat We''re Looking ForQualified Carpenter / JoinerExperience working on construction sitesIdeally experience on large residential or RC frame projectsStrong attention to detailSomeone looking to ..... full job details .....
