The initial role will be based within a secured environment , working as part of a day-to-day reactive maintenance team. You must therefore be comfortable working in a secure environment and able to successfully complete the required security vetting. The Role You will be responsible for a range of reactive carpentry and general maintenance tasks, including: Reactive carpentry maintenance and repairs Door repairs, adjustments and replacements Skirting, architraves and general woodwork repairs Repairs to fixtures, fittings and furniture Basic joinery and remedial works General building fabric repairs Using power tools safely and effectively Long-term opportunities to work across a wider range of public and private sector sites, including hospitals, educational establishments, social housing and other secure environments .
