Job Title: Carpenter (Second Fix and Flat Roof Work)Location: BirminghamStart Date: Monday, 20th July 2026Duration: 6 weeks (Temporary Contract)Rate: Competitive hourly/daily rate (Dependent on experience)Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and versatile Carpenter for a 6-week contract on a project based in Birmingham.This role requires a skilled tradesperson capable of handling both structural roof carpentry and high-quality internal finishes. You will be splitting your time between structural flat roofing works and standard second-fix internal installations.Key Responsibilities:Roofing Works: Installing structural roof joists and laying flat roof decking to architectural specifications, ensuring solid structural integrity and correct falls.Second Fix Works: Installing internal doors, ironmongery, skirting boards, architraves, and other finishings to a high standard of workmanship.Site Safety: Working safely at height and following all site-specific health, safety, and environmental guidelines.Requirements (Minimum Criteria):Qualifications: Valid CSCS Card is mandatory.Certifications: Must hold Working at Heights and Asbestos Awareness certificates.
