Carpenter Multi Trader

Blocktech MEP are looking on behalf of their client for an NVQ Carpenter-Multi trader with for a 1-month contract with potential to extend.

The role will be to assist the company in maintenance activities across-commercial properties. As well as maintenance repair work the company also carry out full refurbishments including new kitchens, new bathrooms, and general painting and decorating.

Although this is currently a contract, they are looking for someone to be part of the team and hopefully build longer term working relationships.

General Duties of the role:

• Carry out minor repairs on tenanted properties both within a small team and on your own.
• Fit new kitchens and appliances
• Assist with deliveries, key collection, and labour.
• Provide support to other tradespersons, occasionally outside main area of expertise.
• Assist the client with commercial work on Hospitals and colleges in London

Necessary requirements or attributes:

• Own Van or vehicle to travel to and from work locations.
• A full UK driving licence
• A minimum of a Labourer CSCS card or the willingness to take the half day to get one.
• The ability to pass a basic DBS check-
• A good work ethic and the ability to work in a friendly professional manner.
• The ability to converse professionally with client and tenants when required.

In Return:

• 1 Month Contract (With extensions)
• 8-hour days with half hour lunch.
• Usual hours 07.30am to 16:00
• Overtime available
• -240 per day-
