Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs and maintenance industry.

An established property services contractor is looking for experienced Carpenter Multis to join their team working in and around Basingstoke. This is a temp to perm opportunity, working on a long-term social housing maintenance contract carrying out reactive repairs and planned maintenance across occupied and void properties.

The Role:

• Carry out carpentry repairs in occupied and void properties
• Complete first and second fix carpentry works
• Undertake additional multi-trade repairs including basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling and decorating
• Diagnose repair issues and complete work to a high standard
• Respond to reactive maintenance jobs
• Keep tenants informed of work being carried out
• Complete job sheets and records as required

What We''re Looking For:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry or equivalent experience
• Experience working within social housing or property maintenance
• Good all-round multi-trade skills
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Friendly and professional approach

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• DBS check
