Carpenter / Joiner (Self-Employed Subcontractor) Peterborough and Surrounding Areas £21.50 - £22.00 per hour Company Van Supplied Immediate Start Available Ongoing Long-Term Contract We are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter / Joiner to join a well-established team covering Peterborough and the surrounding areas on a self-employed subcontract basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for long-term, ongoing work with a company-supplied van and consistent workload. The Role You''ll be carrying out a variety of carpentry and joinery works within domestic residential properties, including: Responsive repairs and maintenance Property refurbishment works Kitchen and bathroom fitting Door installations and repairs Second-fix carpentry General joinery and finishing works Working within occupied and vacant (void) properties Requirements NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery, City and Guilds qualification, or time-served carpenter/joiner Previous carpentry and joinery experience Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and deliver work to a high standard Desirable Experience Social housing maintenance Local authority or housing association contracts Responsive repairs Planned maintenance programmes Working within occupied domestic properties Void property refurbishments and reinstatement works What''s on Offer? £21.50 - £22.00 per hour Company van provided Immediate start Long-term ongoing contract Opportunity to work ..... full job details .....
