Carpenter (with Minor Plumbing Experience)Location: Birmingham Rate: 23.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Duration: Minimum 3 months (potential for extension) Sector: Domestic / Social Housing Benefits: Company van and fuel card providedJob Description:We are seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter with additional skills in minor plumbing works to join our maintenance team operating across Birmingham. This role involves carrying out a range of domestic and social housing repairs, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.Key Responsibilities:Undertake all aspects of carpentry including door hanging, skirting, architraves, and general maintenance repairs.Carry out minor plumbing tasks such as replacing taps, repairing leaks, and similar small-scale works.Work independently and efficiently while maintaining a professional approach in occupied and void properties.Adhere to health and safety standards and company policies at all times.Complete all relevant documentation and reports accurately.Requirements:Full UK driving licence with no more than 5 points.NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Carpentry or valid CSCS card.Demonstrable experience in both carpentry and minor plumbing works.Willingness to undergo a DBS check.Previous experience within domestic or social housing environments is advantageous.What We Offer:Competitive hourly rate of 23.00 per hour.Company van and fuel card provided.Full-time position, Monday to Friday ..... full job details .....
