Carpenter

Berry Recruitment is offering a fantastic opportunity for 3 x Carpenters to join our team, working with Southampton City Council. This 3-month contract has the potential for full-time employment for the right candidates.

• Working in Bassett, Lordshill, Shirley, and the City Centre
• Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
• PAYE direct with Berry Recruitment - including holiday pay
• Carrying out property maintenance and UPVC installations (would be an advantage)
• Working within the Housing Operations team, liaising with residents and colleagues
• You will be provided with a van, tools, uniform and PPE.

• Qualified Carpenter with experience in property maintenance
• To have served a recognised apprenticeship to a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Wood Occupations or equivalent with 3 years'' experience of working in the domestic, commercial construction & maintenance environment.
• Current full UK driving license to drive vehicles throughout the City
• Ability to carry out small works in other trades
• Confident, self-motivated, and customer-focused
• Strong understanding of the construction industry
