Carpenter

I am pleased to present an opportunity for a Carpenter based in the Oxford area. This position, offered on a temporary basis for 6 months with the option to go permanent

-Responsibilities:

• To undertake emergency, planned repairs and maintenance, responding effectively and keeping records of all such work.
• Ensure all fabric & building faults are reported to the correct line management in a timely manner
• To ensure all works comply with relevant legislation, including Health & Safety at Work etc Act 1974 within delegated limits under the direction of the Regional Asset Manager.
• Advise on the implications of building alterations
• Deputise for the Building Supervisor, attending the weekly Building Inspectors team meeting or quarterly contractor meetings as requested, providing technical updates on current building fabric issues and resolution suggestions.
