Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenters for a site in Wadebridge. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and construction, demonstrating proficiency with hand tools and various building techniques.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Perform joinery tasks to ensure precision in the assembly of components.
• Measure, cut, and shape materials as per specifications while ensuring they are plumb and level.
• Work on roofing projects, including the installation of rafters and trusses.
• Engage in masonry work as required for structural integrity.
• Execute painting tasks to finish surfaces with high-quality results.
• Conduct basic electrical work related to carpentry projects when necessary.
• Assemble and fabricate custom pieces according to client specifications or project requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry.
• Knowledge of joinery techniques and ability to perform precise measurements.
• Familiarity with roofing methods and materials.
• Basic understanding of masonry principles is advantageous.
• Experience in painting and finishing techniques is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
