Job Title: Carpenter (Temporary Contract)

Location: Rothley, Leicestershire
Pay/Day rate: £150 - £180 per day 
Hours of Work: Full-time, site-based
Type: Temporary – minimum 3 weeks (potential extension)
Start Date: Immediately

We are recruiting for an experienced Carpenter with strong skills in 1st Fix work, stud wall construction, and roof truss installation. This role is based on a live project in Rothley, Leicestershire, working with a reputable family-run construction business. You will be using your own tools to complete site projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

In this role you will be working as part of the site team and will be responsible for:

• Carrying out 1st Fix joinery work to specification

• Building and installing stud walls

• Installing roof trusses safely and accurately

• Working to site deadlines and project requirements

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area

As a Carpenter, you need to have experience with:

• 1st Fix carpentry on residential or commercial projects

• Stud wall construction and framework installation

• Roof truss assembly and fitting

It would be beneficial to the Carpenter role if you also had:

• A valid CSCS card (Blue/Gold preferred)

• Your own tools and PPE

• Strong awareness of site health & safety standards

• Access to reliable transport to the Rothley site
