This role is perfect for individuals with a background in education or those with strong transferable skills who are passionate about working within SEND to make a meaningful impact on children''s learning and wellbeing.Day-to-day of the role:Work closely with class teachers and support staff to help pupils with special educational needs access learning, build confidence, and stay emotionally regulated throughout the school day.Provide support on a one-to-one basis, through small group interventions, or as part of wider classroom support.Employ a calm, empathetic, and flexible approach, adjusting support in response to individual pupil needs.Ensure a nurturing and inclusive school environment that fosters learning and development.Required Skills and Qualifications:Patient, calm, and nurturing approach.Confidence in supporting children with SEND.Flexibility to respond to varying learning styles and emotional needs.Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team.Experience in a school, care, or support setting is advantageous, but not essential.
