• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
• Contract: Temp to Perm
• Start Date: ASAP/-the upcoming school term
• Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the school premises are safe, secure, clean, and well maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the school site.
• Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs.
• Ensuring the premises are clean, safe, and secure.
• Conducting regular health and safety checks.
• Assisting with room setups for school events and activities.
• Reporting maintenance issues and liaising with contractors when required.
• Monitoring site security and responding to emergencies when necessary.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Caretaker within a school environment.
• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Basic maintenance and repair skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
• Previous school experience is essential
