• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
• Contract: Temp to Perm
• Start Date: ASAP
• Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Facilities Manager-to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the school premises are safe, secure, clean, and well maintained at all times.

Purpose:
To oversee the maintenance, security, health & safety, and day-to-day management of the school site, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for staff, pupils, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the school buildings and grounds.
• Carry out and coordinate repairs, refurbishments, and planned maintenance.
• Act as the school''s keyholder and oversee site security.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure health & safety compliance.
• Manage fire safety procedures, including alarm testing and fire drills.
• Supervise contractors and facilities staff.
• Respond to site emergencies, alarm activations, and adverse weather conditions.
• Ensure grounds, car parks, and external areas are safe, clean, and secure.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Caretaker within a school environment.
• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Basic maintenance and repair skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
