The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to ensure the school site is safe, secure and well maintained , including: Opening the school each morning and carrying out site checks. General maintenance and minor repairs. Ensuring the school site is safe and secure. Setting up rooms for lessons, meetings and events. Managing deliveries and contractors. Maintaining outdoor areas and grounds. Responding to maintenance, health and safety and site issues. Reporting any faults or repairs that require further attention. The ideal candidate will have: Previous caretaker, site assistant or maintenance experience. Good practical and DIY skills. A reliable and proactive approach. Good awareness of health and safety.
