The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school buildings and grounds are secure, well maintained and ready for use throughout the school day.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Caretaker will be responsible for:Ensuring the buildings and site are secure, including daily security checks and locking/unlocking at designated timesOpening the site promptly each day and ensuring it is fully prepared for the school daySecuring the site at the end of the day by locking doors, windows and gates, turning off gas and electrical appliances, and setting alarms correctlyActing as a Registered Key Holder and attending emergency call-outs as part of an on-call rotaProactively identifying, reporting and resolving building defects and damaged equipment, maintaining a high standard of repairKeeping accurate records relating to maintenance and site securityWorking in line with health and safety regulati...</description>
