Are you a dependable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming school environment? We are looking for a School Caretaker to join our team and ensure the smooth running of our facilities, supporting staff, students and visitors every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness, safety and security of the school premises
• Carry out routine maintenance and basic repairs as needed
• Open and close the school, managing building access and security systems
• Monitor and report health and safety concerns promptly
• Support contractors and manage deliveries and site visitors
• Ensure playgrounds, grounds and outdoor areas are safe and tidy
• Respond quickly to urgent maintenance issues or emergencies

What We''re Looking For:

• Previous experience in caretaking or maintenance, preferably in a school or similar environment
• Practical skills and ability to carry out basic repairs and upkeep
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
• Flexibility to cover out-of-hours duties as required
• A commitment to supporting a safe and positive school environment
