Caretaker

About the RoleMTVH are looking for a Caretaker to deliver high-quality estate services across designated schemes, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for residents. This role plays a vital part in maintaining customer satisfaction by supporting estate operations, carrying out minor repairs, and working closely with other teams to protect MTVH''s assets and uphold service standards. Therefore, as part of the Customer Services team, you will work collaboratively with housing, maintenance, and support teams to provide excellent front-line service. You will be visible on estates, engaging with residents, addressing issues promptly, and contributing to a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment. Key responsibilities Deliver day-to-day caretaking services, including estate inspections, cleaning oversight, and reporting repairs Carry out minor maintenance tasks and support the upkeep of communal areas and facilities Monitor estate safety, including lighting, security, and reporting anti-social behaviour or risks Support waste management and recycling processes, working with contractors and local authorities Engage with residents, provide updates, and support customer service delivery across the estate What you''ll need to succeed Experience carrying out basic repairs and maintaining environments to a good standard Strong customer service and communication skills with a resident-focused approach Ability to organise, prioritise tasks, and work independently ..... full job details .....
