Caretaker

A committed and reliable Caretaker is required to start as soon as possible at a welcoming and well-regarded school. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation and safety of the school site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Maintaining clean, safe, and secure school premises - including both buildings and outdoor areas

• Carrying out a range of tasks such as cleaning, handyperson duties, routine maintenance, refurbishment, porterage, and minor repairs

• Supervising and supporting school cleaning staff to ensure high standards are met

• Promoting good health and safety practices across the school environment

• Supervising and liaising with external contractors working on site

The ideal applicant will be practical, flexible, and take pride in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for pupils and staff.
