Caretaker

Adecco are currently looking for a number of Caretakers to work for our Educational clients across Bolton, to work on a casual basis. Duties:Open and secure the site, including unlocking/locking doors, setting alarms, and securing gates with padlocksConduct regular internal and external security checks, reporting any damage or vandalismMaintain cleanliness across the site, including emptying bins, mopping floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, and cleaning toilets and sinksEnsure external areas, including entrances and car parks, are free of litter and secure at the end of the daySupport contractors on site, including signing them in and assisting with access to relevant areasMonitor and shut down classrooms, ensuring heaters are off, windows are closed, and areas are locked down appropriately Requirements:Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, or site management roleBasic knowledge of health and safety regulations, including manual handling and COSHHAbility to carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasksGood communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, contractors, and visitorsStrong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and manage time effectivelyPhysical fitness, as the role involves manual work, lifting, and outdoor duties Additional DetailsJob Type: Temporary Days: Anytime between Monday and FridayHours: Various shifts available Hourly Rate: 13ph- 13.50ph Why choose Adecco?Weekly payPension schemeHoliday ..... full job details .....
