This Caretaker position is a part-time afternoon role, ideal for an experienced Caretaker or someone with previous site, facilities, or maintenance experience looking to work within a school environment. Key Responsibilities of the Caretaker Role: Opening, securing, and maintaining the school site Carrying out general caretaker duties, including basic maintenance and minor repairs Completing routine health & safety and site inspections Setting up rooms and school spaces for after-school clubs and activities Ensuring the school grounds remain clean, safe, and well maintained Supporting school staff with ad-hoc site-related tasks Liaising with contractors and visitors when required The Ideal Caretaker Will Have: Previous experience as a Caretaker , Site Assistant, Facilities Operative, or in a similar role (preferred) A practical, reliable, and proactive approach Good understanding of health & safety procedure...
