School Caretaker - Secondary SchoolLocation: BexleyheathHours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pmStart Date: ASAPWe are currently recruiting for an experienced School Caretaker to join a busy secondary school in Bexleyheath.The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the school site, ensuring the buildings and grounds are safe, secure, clean and well maintained.Key ResponsibilitiesOpening and securing the school siteCarrying out daily site and security checksUndertaking general maintenance and minor repairsEnsuring the school site is safe, clean and well presentedSetting up rooms and areas for school activities and eventsLiaising with contractors and reporting maintenance issuesSupporting with general premises and facilities dutiesThe Ideal CandidatePrevious experience in caretaking, premises or facilitiesGood general maintenance and practical skillsA reliable, proactive and hands-on approachGood knowledge of health and safetyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious experience working within a school environment would be advantageousA valid DBS or willingness to undergo a DBS checkPlease note: Candidates must have a DBS in place or be willing to complete the DBS process before starting.If you are an experienced Caretaker looking for a full-time, school-based position in Bexleyheath, we would love to hear from you.Salary will be determined by the successful candidate''s qualifications and relevant experience, ..... full job details .....
