We are looking for a Cluster Manager to lead our Careers, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CIAG) services within a prison-based environment. You will manage and develop CIAG teams across multiple prisons, ensuring high-quality career guidance and employability support.Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of CIAG Advisors across multiple prisons, delivering exceptional careers guidance and employability support.Ensure compliance, high-quality service delivery, and achievement of key performance targets.Team Leadership: coach, support, and inspire your team with the tools needed to excel.Deliver CIAG services frontline: approximately 30% of your time will be spent delivering frontline CIAG services alongside your team.Operational Oversight: oversee CIAG service delivery to meet contractual and organisational targets.Quality Assurance: conduct regular service evaluations ensuring safeguarding, prison security, and quality standards.Performance Monitoring: track outcomes and use data insights to drive continuous improvement.Stakeholder Engagement: build relationships with prison staff, training providers, and employers to enhance service effectiveness.Compliance and Safeguarding: ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and prison security regulations.Driving Participant Success: support individuals in custody so career guidance aligns with their skills and aspirations, contributing to reduced reoffending and successful reintegration.Qualifications and Experience
Strong leadership with experience in offender rehabilitation, careers guidance, or employment services; ability to manage and develop teams in a target-driven environment.Careers Guidance Expertise: Level 4 IAG qualification or willingness to work towards it.Compliance Knowledge: solid understanding of safeguarding, data protection, and prison regulations.Performance Management: experience monitoring outcomes and driving improvements.Stakeholder Engagement: ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.IT Proficiency: competent in using digital tools for reporting and performance tracking.Driving Licence and Vehicle: must be able to travel between multiple prisons (HMP Brixton, HMP Wormwood Scrubs and HMP Pentonville) or equivalent; full driving licence required.Requirements and Logistics
You must be willing to undergo enhanced DBS clearance and prison vetting. The role involves travel across multiple prisons within the cluster area and requires a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.Values and Benefits
