Careers AdviserSalary £28,273 to £31,765 Application close date: 08/07/2026Interview Date: Friday 24 July 2026The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and motivated Careers Adviser to join our Student Services team. Reporting to the Head of Student Services, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality careers education, information, advice and guidance (IAG) to prospective, current, and former students. You will work closely with students to support informed decision-making around course and learning options, career pathways, and the development of essential employability skills. Using your professional expertise and guidance techniques, you will encourage individuals to set ambitious goals, build motivation, and achieve positive outcomes at the end of their studies.The role involves working with a diverse student population and adopting an inclusive, student-centred approach to guidance. You will collaborate with colleagues, parents, employers, and a range of stakeholders to ensure individuals are fully supported in exploring the many opportunities available to them.You will also play an active role in promoting education, training, and career pathways, building strong partnerships across the college and with external organisations throughout East Lancashire and beyond.What are we looking for?
