Join to apply for the Career Opportunities: Trade and Transaction Reporting - Assistant Vice President (3022) role at Mizuho.The Operations department provides all operational support functions for the Company’s businesses such as fixed income trading and sales, Japanese and European equity trading and sales, Treasury management and other new business lines developed by the Company. Operations plays a key role in delivering an optimal, full-spectrum service for all clients and is structured by product and aligned to support all businesses as appropriate in trade capture, reference data, cash management, securities and cash reconciliation, transaction processing, money transfer, income processing, tax reclaims, collateral, client valuations, and confirmations. The Operations team also supports ongoing business projects and new product development in conjunction with other control units and Mizuho’s Information Systems Department.Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring that Mizuho meets our reporting obligations. The role specifically requires a working understanding and knowledge of Regulatory Reporting requirements framework across MiFID, EMIR and SFTR.Daily Responsibilities – SFTRTo act as an SME regarding Regulatory obligations under SFTROperations Oversight of Message Automation and DTCC dashboardsRemediation and Resubmission of any daily transaction / collateral update / collateral re-use rejections within the Regulatory deadlineFront to back reconciliation on SFTR reportable fields between CDW and DTCC Trade Repository Reconciliation against SFTR eligible counterparties for Pairing (UTI and LEIs) and Matching (economic attributes)Resubmission of any SFT Transactions to the TR on the back of the reconciliations (CDW vs DTCC and Pairing and Matching)Communicate MHI generated UTI to counterparty where MHI is deemed the UTI generatorObtain and chase UTI from the counterparties for SFT transactions where counterparty is deemed the UTI generatorProvide regular update of GoldenSource of regulatory, UTI Logic / SFTR Classification / SFTR Mandatory Delegated ReportingManagement of counterparty queries on regarding on MHI delegated reportingMaintenance of CCP statements, ensuring they are consumed correctlyDaily Responsibilities – MiFIDTo act as an SME regarding Regulatory obligations under MiFID IIDaily monitoring to ensure Trade and Transaction Reporting (FCA) has been instructed correctly and within regulatory deadlines and reconciles to our books and records.APA reporting: Real-time monitoring of the Trax/Bloomberg/TradeEcho MiFID II Trade and Transaction Reporting GUIs.Exception management on BAU to ensure regulatory deadlines are met.Complete daily Reconciliations for MiFID II reportingMonitor daily Real-time MiFID II potential clearing breaches; escalate to FO/line manager if necessary.Standardise any operations tasks and embedded into the consolidated Trade and Transaction Reporting procedure.Daily Responsibilities – EMIRTo act as an SME regarding Regulatory obligations under EMIROperations Oversight of Message Automation and DTCC dashboardsRemediation and Resubmission of any daily transaction / collateral update / valuation update rejections within the Regulatory deadlineResubmission of any EMIR Transactions to the TR on the back of the reconciliations (CDW vs UnaVista and Pairing and Matching)Complete daily Reconciliations for EMIR reportingTrade Repository Reconciliation against EMIR eligible counterparties for PairingMonitor daily Real-time EMIR potential clearing breaches; escalate to FO/line manager if necessary.Standardise any operations tasks and embedded into the consolidated Trade and Transaction Reporting procedure.RTB ResponsibilitiesInvolvement with Regulatory Project work as required for MiFID II/EMIR SFTRLiaise with ISD/Legal/Compliance to implement various tactical and long term strategic solutions in the reporting framework.Raising JIRA’s providing detailed analysisQualifications, Skills And Experience
