Care Worker
Our local client are currently recruiting for Care Workers in Calne, Chippenham and Lyneham Job Purpose To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to our clients customers, enabling them to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes. Care may include personal care, companionship, household tasks, medication support and assistance with daily activities, in line with individual care plans and CQC requirements. Key Responsibilities Personal and Practical Care Provide personal care including washing, bathing, dressing, continence care and support with mobility. Assist with meals, drinks and medication as per care plans. Support with getting in and out of bed and other daily living tasks. Household and Community Support Undertake light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, ironing and meal preparation. Accompany or assist customers with shopping, medical appointments, prescription collection and hospital discharge support. Promoting Independence and Wellbeing Encourage and enable customers to live as independently as possible, including participation in social, physical and leisure activities. Respect and protect the dignity, privacy and rights of all customers. Communication and Record Keeping Maintain accurate electronic care records and medication logs. Liaise with Care Team Leaders, families, GPs and other professionals as required. Act as a mentor to new carers when appropriate. Compliance and Safeguarding Deliver care ..... full job details .....
