Care Worker - Looked After Children

Overview We are seeking positive, dedicated Care Workers to provide care and support for Children in Looked After Care aged 8-17 years old.The ideal candidate will be passionate about transforming lives, demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in the delivery of care and support for young people, and have a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all.This role involves working closely to our Statement of Purpose and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements whilst creating a life changing environment for our young people.Our home provides accommodation, care and support services for CYP who may have had traumatic upbringing resulting in behaviour that challenges.Children will be 8-17 years old and in looked after care with a range of support needs including behaviour that challenges, physical sensory or learning disability, and/or autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities Delivery of day-to-day care and support within the care home, including meal preparation, cleaning, washing and transportation of the young person as required Building a safe, positive and preventative environment, in which young people are heard, understood and supported Work to the highest standards of care are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements, including our Statement of Purpose, recording and reporting behaviours that require Deliver care closely to the individuals care plan, promoting physical, emotional, and social development, recognising each young ..... full job details .....
