Care Worker

About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Support Workers to work across a range of supported living services in Newmarket. The services specialise in supporting adults with-Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health needs, helping them to live independently while promoting dignity, choice, and inclusion.

• Provide high-quality person-centred care and support.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and community access.
• Promote independence, well being, and social inclusion.
• Support individuals with complex needs, behaviours of concern, and mental health conditions.
• Administer and record medication in line with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and CQC regulations at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.

Essential Requirements Candidates must hold relevant training and experience in some or all of the following:

• PEG Feeding
• Buccal Medication Administration
• Medication Management
• Epilepsy Awareness
• Dysphagia Awareness
• Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
• Catheter Care
• Mandatory Training Certificate
• Moving and Handling practical
• DBS on the update service
