We are currently recruiting for a Care Worker to work for our client based in Walthamstow and surrounding areas. We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and dedicated Care Worker to join our residential care team supporting older people, including individuals living with dementia. You will provide high-quality person-centred care, promote independence and help residents maintain their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life. Key Responsibilities for Care Worker: Provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care to older people, including residents living with dementia. Support residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and mobility. Build positive and trusting relationships with residents, families and colleagues. Act as a Keyworker, ensuring individual care needs, preferences and wellbeing are appropriately supported. Communicate effectively with residents, relatives and other professionals. Organise and participate in meaningful activities that promote residents wellbeing and independence. Complete accurate daily records, care notes and reports in line with care home procedures. Follow safeguarding, health and safety, infection control and confidentiality procedures. Promote dignity, choice, independence and equality at all times.
