Care Worker / Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant

The Care Worker / Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to help and assist the team with day-to-day routines including personal care and feeding.

The ideal candidate would have some experience in care and be a compassionate person.

Responsibilities include:

Helping patients with washing, showering, or dressing

Serving food or assisting with eating

Making and changing beds

Turning patients to prevent pressure sores

Talking to patients to reduce anxiety

Assisting patients with mobility

Helping with toileting needs

Maintaining cleanliness of the ward or patient''s home

Managing supplies and equipment

Work may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients within hospital departments. With experience, you may participate in training new healthcare assistants.

Qualifications and previous experience are not mandatory but preferred.

As a Care Worker, Support Worker, or Healthcare Assistant, you will work under supervision of nursing staff alongside other healthcare assistants.
