Job Description Support Worker (Driver Essential) £13.10 per hour + £50 sleep ins Shift pattern: 8am - 10pm As a Lifeways Support Worker, you''ll do far more than provide care. You''ll help people build confidence, maintain their independence, stay connected to the people who matter to them and live the life they choose. We''re looking for caring, reliable people who want to make a genuine difference. You don''t need previous care experience. What matters most is your attitude, values and willingness to support others. A full driving licence is essential for this role, but not because you''ll spend your day driving from appointment to appointment. Driving gives the people we support opportunities. It means helping someone visit family, get to college, attend a job interview, enjoy a day out, pursue a hobby, go shopping independently or simply spend time in their local community. Sometimes the smallest things can have the biggest impact. Whether that''s somebody ordering a coffee independently for the first time, catching up with friends, or building the confidence to try something new, you''ll play a part in making those moments happen.
