Overview

Working Hours: One x 37 hours per week and one casual post (zero hour contract). Must be able to work flexibly and participate in a work rota and work weekends and bank holidays when required between the hours of 07.00 and 22.00. The Trees Short Breaks, in Hinckley, is a purpose-built respite home providing respite care for adults with learning disability, autism, physical disabilities and sensory impairments. We are looking for a Care Services Team Leader (1 x 37 hours post and 1 x Casual post).Responsibilities

Demonstrate a commitment to providing high quality care and support, and maximise independence;Be responsive to meet the changing needs of a 24/7 service. Must be able to work flexibly and participate in a staff rota that incorporates working weekends and bank holidays;Have the ability to assist with the moving and handling of people using available equipment;Have a suitable level of experience in a supervisory or managerial position in a social care setting;Have the ability to analyse information to be able to reach defensible decisions (demonstrating the use of risk management tools);Demonstrate sound regulatory knowledge on the Fundamental Standards set by the Care Quality Commission.Requirements / Qualifications

We are looking for people with supervisory or managerial experience who can help us continue delivering high quality care and support to adults with learning differences in our Short Breaks services. You will have the skills to identify risks and have knowledge of safeguarding procedures. You will provide direct care and support and have the ability to motivate and support the team and promote the values of individuality and diversity. You will work in accordance with Leicestershire County Council''s Employee Code of Conduct and Skills for Care Code of Conduct for Adult Social Care Workers. Training and DBS enhanced check on the Adults Barred List will be provided; the organisation will cover training costs and DBS check for this post. A full, clean driving licence is preferred but not essential. Fully funded DBS application and employee benefits scheme. Access to blue light discount card.Benefits / Additional Information
