Care Manager

Bright Selection are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a regional care provider for a Care Manager to play a vital role in the successful running of a beautiful purpose-built care home in Hertfordshire

Working closely with the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, you will contribute to the seamless management of the home while maintaining a level of hands-on care and support to residents.

As a Care Manager, your commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care will be crucial in ensuring residents'' well-being and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of the home''s functioning, including overseeing staffing levels, implementing staff training, and actively participating in direct care activities.

We''re seeking an individual with a strong passion for elderly and dementia care and some supervisory experience. Your dedication and leadership skills will be instrumental in creating a positive and nurturing environment for both residents and staff.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in the day to running of the home.
• Be responsible for the supervision of staff.
• Actively contributing to staff training programs
• Maintaining a well-organized medication system, including ordering, recording, administration, and disposal.
• Hands on care delivery.

Requirements:

• Minimum of NVQ L3 in Health and Social Care
• Experience in dementia care

Salary :

• -33,000pa | 40hrs per week
• Some weekend working required on a rota basis
