About the Role
As a Care Home Support Worker Team Leader, you will take the lead in managing night-time activities in our residential and respite establishments. Your key responsibilities will include:

Safeguarding Residents: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents, addressing any concerns promptly.
Medication Management: Assist in the administration and monitoring of medications.
Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a dedicated team, ensuring high standards of care and support plans are met.
Problem Solving: Address emergencies and challenges as they arise, fostering a safe environment for both staff and residents.

What We''re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• Previous experience as a team leader in a care setting.
• The ability to work nights and weekends.
• A current moving and handling certificate.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• The capability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
• Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
• A reliable means of transport to work during unsociable hours, especially when public transport may be limited.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in a care home setting.
• An in date moving and handling certificate.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to GDPR.
• A flexible approach to work and the ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
