An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Care Home Manager to manage an exceptional residential care home based in the Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire area.You will be working for one of UK''s leading healthcare providersThis care home is in the heart of the Stourport community, with a devoted team of long-serving staff.The home offers both short stay and long-term care, providing residential care, dementia care and short-term respite breaks for its residents**To be considered for this position you must be hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care**As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:Ensure high standards of service delivery within a quality assurance framework by ensuring that the highest level of nursing and residential care standards are maintained at all times through the quality assurance cycleEnsure that the care home complies with all relevant legislation and registration requirements by establishing, maintaining and monitoring procedures and maintaining awareness of major developments and legislation within the sectorManage the recruitment, performance and development of quality staff to ensure that skilled staff is available to meet the needs of the service, ensuring compliance to all HR and LandD policy requirementsEnsure economic viability assisting in setting, monitoring and controlling budgets to ensure income is maximised and value for money achieved, including new business opportunities are identified and occupancy is exceededContribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of strategies and plans to enable the care home to achieve its business objectivesPromote the aims and interests of the business with external organisations by marketing and promoting the business to external agencies and within the wider communityContribute, as appropriate, to special projects and change programmes in support of the Group''s objectivesThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:Proven relevant senior management experience in the care sectorRobust experience of directly managing staffAbility to demonstrate a positive and accepting approach to clients whatever their needsProven ability in budget preparation and controlExcellent communication skillsThe successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £52,500 per annum.This exciting position is a permanent full time role working for 40 hours a week on days.In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:25 days annual leave (rising to a maximum of 30 days) plus bank holidaysLife assuranceCQC performance bonusExcellent training and development opportunitiesLoyalty Award availableRefer a friend scheme paymentContributory pensionAccess to a free 24/7 support service providing support including legal, financial, emotional and medical adviceDiscounts on shopping, holidays, cinema, dining, days out and much more via ‘My Rewards''Criminal Records Checks are fundedReference ID: 7037To apply for this fantastic job role, please call on 0121 638 0567 or send your ..... full job details .....
