Care Home Head Chef - Daytime Hours

Experienced Head Chef needed to lead a care home kitchen in the West Midlands, with flexible daytime shifts paying £16-£18 per hour. About the role We''re looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen in a care home setting. You''ll prepare nutritious, appetising meals for residents, keep standards high, and make mealtimes a highlight of the day. Shifts are daytime and flexible, so you can fit work around your life while earning a great rate of pay. Key responsibilities Plan, prepare and cook high-quality, nutritious meals for residents Lead and support the kitchen team Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and allergen management About you Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, ideally in a care or healthcare setting Enhanced DBS check required (or a current certificate on the update service) Full understanding of allergens and dietary requirements Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (Level 3 preferred) Reliable, adaptable and able to work well with care staff Driving licence and own vehicle, if required What we offer Great rates of pay: £16-£18 per hour, based on experience Daytime hours Flexible shifts to fit around your personal life Weekly Pay plus holiday pay Already have a DBS?
