Care Home Deputy Manager

Overview

As Care Home Deputy Manager of a Barchester care home, you''ll support the delivery of the quality care we''re known for. You will work closely with the General Manager and take on leadership duties in their absence. You''ll help with ensuring care standards, motivating your team and inspiring a multidisciplinary team to help every resident enjoy the best possible quality of life. You''ll lead by example and monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice and checking regulatory compliance. You''ll set high standards and develop and deliver strategies to achieve goals.Responsibilities

Support the delivery of quality care in the care home and contribute to maintaining high care standards.Work closely with the General Manager and assume leadership duties in their absence.Motivate and lead a multidisciplinary team to help residents enjoy the best possible quality of life.Lead by example and monitor standards through regular audits and supervised clinical practice.Ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to the development and delivery of strategic plans.About You / Qualifications

Experience in helping residents with different health needs.Track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.HR experience is desirable.Strong knowledge of sales and marketing and an understanding of budget management.Compassionate, resilient and determined to deliver quality care in an engaging and energetic environment.Rewards Package
