Care Home Cook / Chef Full Time – 5 Days, 8 Hours/Day
MCG is recruiting a passionate Cook/Chef to join a friendly care home team. Create nutritious, home-cooked meals that make a real difference to elderly residents’ lives.
What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for high-quality meals and fresh ingredients
• Empathy and patience with residents
• Experience in catering, preferably in healthcare (training provided)
• Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2+)

Your Role:

• Prepare meals from a four-week rotating menu
• Cater for special diets (IDDSI, diabetic, religious preferences, fortified meals)
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, stock, and compliance with food safety
• Supervise kitchen assistants

• 5 days/week, 8 hours/day, typical hours 7am–3pm, alternate weekends
