Care Home Chef - Pocklington (YO42)

Pay rate: £15.50 per hour
Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Contract: Temporary (approximately 3 months, with potential extension)
Schedule: Rota-based - includes working 2 weekends per month
Manpower is currently recruiting for a temporary Care Home Chef to join a friendly care home based in Pocklington (YO42 area).
We''re looking for a dedicated and reliable chef who can prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.
Key Requirements:

• 
  Minimum Level 2 qualification in Professional Cookery or equivalent
• 
  Previous experience working in a care home or similar catering environment (desirable)
• 
  Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• 
  Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle - due to the location of the care home
• 
  Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
