Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the capability to handle various tasks associated with delivery operations.Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations.Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies.Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met.Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading of goods for delivery.Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.Experience / Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.A valid driver\''s licence with no more than 6 points is essential; experience driving larger vehicles or commercial driving is advantageous.Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is beneficial.Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members.Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the role is required (e.g., lifting up to 25kg).A full UK driving licence held for over 2 years is required.Delivery driver: 1 year ..... full job details .....
